Gen-Next Jewelers is excited to announce our partnership with Jewelers for Children on the first ever “After Party” immediately following The Facets of Hope dinner in Las Vegas. Join us on Sunday, June 6th for an evening of drinks, gaming and conversation starting at 9:30 PM in the Pallazo Ballroom at the Venetian Hotel (the same room as the Facets of Hope dinner). It is essential that our generation begin to get involved in the charitable works of the jewelry industry and we hope that you can make time to see what jewelers across the United States have already accomplished.
Over the past few years, Jewelers for Children have made several changes to the dinner to shift the evening into a celebration of the charitable accomplishments of the jewelry industry through partnerships with several charities including Make A Wish, CASA, St. Jude and The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation. This optimistic tone and these impressive results are something that we must acknowledge as an industry and we invite all members of the next generation of jewelry industry leaders to share in the evening.
Starting at 9:30PM anyone who is willing to make a $30 donation directly to Jewelers for Children (this includes those who are not attending the dinner) will be welcome to join in the festivities. We encourage you to come take a look at what Jewelers for Children is accomplishing in an entirely different format than ever before. Come celebrate the good works of “the industry with a heart” with Jewelers for Children and Gen-Next Jewelers. There will be no speeches or talks, the evening will be purely social, but we believe that showing up can go a long way to raise awareness for an amazing industry cause with your support.
Check back next week for a Gen-Next Jewelers Podcast with JFC Executive Director, David Rocha to learn more about the event as well as the latest efforts of the jewelry industry on the behalf of children in need. We look forward to seeing many of you for this first ever event with Jewelers for Children and Gen-Next Jewelers. Let us know if you plan to attend in the comments section and we will see you in Las Vegas.
